I am a mix engineer and producer based in the UK. I worked as an assistant at several London studios most notably Marcus Music, eventually becoming the house engineer for Island Records at the legendary Fallout Shelter. After four years working exclusively for Island on seminal albums for artists including Tricky, Lewis Taylor, Pulp, and PJ Harvey I left to go freelance.
Albums I have contributed to have received a Grammy nomination for Seal's 'System' album, won a Brit award for Daniel Bedingfield's ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ and a Mercury Music Prize nomination for Tricky's 'Maxinequaye' as well as global Multi-Platinum and Gold sales awards.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your projects.

Turin Brakes have unveiled their new album ‘Lost Property’ which I had the pleasure of co-producing and mixing earlier this year. As with the previous LP ‘We Were Here’ we returned to Rockfield Studios in Wales to record in the Coach House via the Neve console to the Studer A820 tape machine. Over 15 days we captured some intense and uplifting performances. Olly,Gale, Ed and Rob are in fine form and I urge you to look out for the album and tour dates in early 2016.
Last summer I had the pleasure of working with singer/songwriter Jay Leighton and his merry band of men led by the super talented Danny Keane, Jon Thorne and Che Albrighton.
We recorded live in the Wood Room at Real World for 3 packed days interrupted by the occasional sledgehammer(no really! building work next door). Working hard to capture the essence of Jay’s stripped back songs.
Danny added his wonderful string arrangements in London before I spent some time on the final mixes back at Real World.
Look out for the album spring 2011 and for Jay Leighton playing live at The Shepherds Bush Empire in May.
A few times in my life Iʼve had moments of absolute clarity.
When for a few brief seconds the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think.
I can never make these moments last.
I cling to them, but like everything they fade.
I have lived my life on these moments.
They pull me back to the present. And I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be.
